In Ms. Nakada's class she took attendance. Then, we corrected a students blog. After that, we did Jamboard. Then, we listened to a song called "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story?" from Hamilton. Once we were done listening to the song, Ms. Nakada told us what was the song about. After that, we were reading Inside Out and Back Again . Then, we were put into break out rooms and read one poem. Once we were done with all of that, Ms. Nakada gave us information about our homework that was due Friday, January 29th. After that, class ended.

 Before Ms. Nakada did attendance we did Createtober and Justice for George. After we wrote the agenda for today. Then, we went over the Quote of the week, Question of the week and Song of the Week. Lastly, we worked on our Student Led Conference forms and got dismissed after.

Friday's Blog

On Friday, we started off by reading the blog. Ms. Nakada then made sure we knew the future plans for wrapping up school for 8th graders. Then, Ms. Nakada blessed us by performing her graduation speech, which I’m sure gave many inspiration, as she slyly hid in a saying from  RENT  the musical. We went over the 10-year plan and how much different careers make. Finally, we took quizzes and were done for the week!
