Makhi's First Blog

  Today, Ms. Nakada showed the class a poem called "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening," by Robert Frost. Then, she had told the class to read a line from the poem, and good thing there weren't any crickets. Then, after that she showed us the rhyme scheme. Then, she asked if we liked the poem. Some said they liked it, and some said it was ok.

Michael's First Blog

Today we went over the quote of the week:  "I had for my winter evening walk No one at all with who to talk But I had the cottages in a row Up to their shining eyes in snow." Question: What is the difference between being alone and being lonely."  After that we went over the song of the week: "Message in a Bottle" by The Police.  Then, it took a while for someone to volunteer to do the blog.After we discussed who was gonna do it we took an A.R quiz

Arrie's First Blog

When class started, Ms. Nakada said hi to everyone. Then, she started doing the blog correction.  Then, we did the agenda. After that, we started working on our books then she showed her book and how to create one. We started to write our books for the rest of the class.

Jackie's First Blog

  Today in Ms. Nakada's sixth period class we went over Jaeda's blog and corrected it. After that, we wrote down the agenda and talked about the homework and the quote of the week: "Select and collect all of the words and phrases that are to you like the blast of a trumpet." Ralph Waldo Emerson. Then, discussed our favorite words and phrases. The question of the week was "Can money buy love and happiness?" The song of the week was "Forever Young" by Alphaville. We finished up NaNoWriMo and filled out the chart then class ended for the day.
