Today we went over the quote of the week: 

"I had for my winter evening walk
No one at all with who to talk
But I had the cottages in a row

After that we went over the song of the week: "Message in a Bottle" by The Police. 

Then, it took a while for someone to volunteer to do the blog.After we discussed who was gonna do it we took an A.R quiz

  Agenda Welcome to English 8! Syllabus First Day Letter HW: course outline signed / letters home due Sunday Hey Period 6! This will be a space where everyday a different student will capture what happens in class and read their blog the next day. Raul's First Blog

In Ms. Nakada's class she took attendance. Then, we corrected a students blog. After that, we did Jamboard. Then, we listened to a song called "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story?" from Hamilton. Once we were done listening to the song, Ms. Nakada told us what was the song about. After that, we were reading Inside Out and Back Again . Then, we were put into break out rooms and read one poem. Once we were done with all of that, Ms. Nakada gave us information about our homework that was due Friday, January 29th. After that, class ended.
