Wednesday Blog

For class today we started out by reading the blog. We then headed over to the Jamboard and discussed the quote of the week: "Awards become corroded. Friends gather no dust." Jesse Owens 

The question of the week was: what awards and accomplishments can you include on college/scholarship applications?

Then we listened to the song of the week, "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" Boyz II Men. 

After the song we all listened to each others poem for the poetry slam. There were so many amazing poems shared that Ms. Nakada was brought to tears and period 6 won the slam.
